Get a Google review link without profile access

A Google review link without login is useful when the person who needs the URL is not the person who owns the listing. An agency setting up a new shop. A tech who has Maps open on the job. A sibling who runs the phone. None of those people should have to borrow the owner’s Google account.

“Without login” is not “without permission from the shop.” If you are an agency, the owner still has to want the ask. If you are a tech, the shop still has to want customers writing on Google. The Place ID being public does not mean you should text their customers for them. You make the link. They send it — or they ask you to send it from a number the customer already knows.

What “without login” means

It means we do not ask you to sign into Google Business Profile. Paste a Maps share link or a Place ID. We build https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=PLACE_ID. We do not take over the listing. We do not change hours, photos, or replies. We do not get a token. The Place ID only names the place.

If you do manage the profile and you are on a computer, Google’s own path is still fine: Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews. Use that when you have admin access and you want their dashboard link. Use our generator when you do not.

Agency and tech on a job

An agency can generate the link for a client from a public Maps URL, then hand the owner the text. The owner still sends it. A tech can generate it in the driveway if they can share the listing from Maps. If the short link hides the id, look it up in Google’s Place ID Finder and paste that. We do not scrape Maps. We do not invent a login bypass.

Two locations means two Place IDs. Do not send the downtown link after a job in the other town. Generate once per shop. Save the shop later if you want that Place ID stored — $29/month.

What this does not unlock

You still cannot reply to reviews without profile access. You cannot edit hours. You cannot upload photos. You cannot see Insights. A write-review URL is only the form. If the owner needs those other jobs done, they still sign into Google Business Profile. We are the kit for the ask, not a dashboard clone.

If a client asks an agency to “get us reviews,” the honest answer is still: we will make the link; you will send it to people you just served. We will not run a farm. We will not write the reviews. We will not log into Google as the business.

A child or a helper in the office can do the same job: paste Maps, copy the text, hand the phone back. They do not need the Google password. They do need the shop’s permission to text the customer. That is a people problem, not a Place ID problem.
