Terms of use

These terms are a draft for askforstars.com. The service is operated by Media Yard LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, New Jersey, United States. Contact hello@askforstars.com. We do not publish a street address.

The service

Askforstars is a pass-through link generator plus a saved shop profile. We build an official Google write-review URL and keep an optional shop name, Place ID, and text template. You copy those and send them yourself.

You send the texts

The wording we show is a template. You edit it. You send it from your own phone to people you already did a job for. You are responsible for TCPA, consent, timing, and any do-not-contact rules. We do not send SMS, MMS, or RCS. We are not a texter or aggregator.

What we do not do

  • We do not post reviews to Google.
  • We do not write reviews.
  • We do not guarantee Google ranking, star rating, or review volume.
  • We do not collect customer phone numbers in v1.

Accounts and fees

Starter: one free generate. No card for that. Shop: $29 per month to save the shop, Place ID, and script. Billing is through Stripe when keys are configured. Cancel anytime by writing hello@askforstars.com. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law.

Who owns what

You own your shop name, tags, Place ID, and scripts. We own Askforstars— the product, software, and marks. You get a limited license to use the service while you follow these terms.

We do not train on your traffic

We do not use your shop profile, generate logs, or messages as training data for a model. There are no customer prompts in this product because we do not chat with your customers.

Confidentiality

Each side keeps the other's non-public business information confidential except as needed to run the service, comply with law, or with written permission.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Askforstars to request fake reviews.
  • Do not paste customer phone numbers into this product in v1.
  • Do not pretend we sent the text or posted the review.
  • Do not probe, scrape, or overload the service.

Export and sanctions

You may not use the service if you are barred under United States export or sanctions rules.

Assignment

You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or a buyer of the business.

AS-IS

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Media Yard LLC disclaims warranties and is not liable for lost reviews, lost jobs, Google account actions, or messages you choose to send.

New Jersey law and venue

New Jersey law governs these terms, without regard to conflict rules. Courts in New Jersey are the venue. If a court will not enforce a part, the rest still stands.

Survival

Ownership, confidentiality, acceptable use, AS-IS, liability limits, New Jersey law, and this survival clause last after cancel or suspend.
