The kit
What does Askforstars do?
We make the official Google write-review URL and a short text template. You copy both. You send the text from your own phone.
Is this fake reviews?
No. The customer writes the review on Google. We only make the link and a template.
Will this make me rank on Maps?
We don't promise rankings. Fresh reviews help. That's it.
Is this like tools that send the texts for me?
Those products send the texts for you. We do not. You copy the Google review link and send it from your own phone.
Google links / Place ID
Do I need to log into Google?
No. Paste a Maps link or Place ID. We build https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=…
What is a Place ID?
Google's id for the listing. Most start with ChIJ. A Maps share link is enough. We pull it out.
Two locations?
Each shop has its own Place ID. Generate once per location. Don't send the wrong shop's link.
Texting
Do you text my customers?
No, you copy and send from your phone. We never SMS. TCPA stays with you.
Do you send the text?
No. You copy it and send it from your own phone to someone you already did a job for.
Who can I text?
People you already did a job for, using a number you already have. TCPA and consent are yours. We never send SMS.
Can I edit the script?
Yes. The template is yours. Keep {link} where the write-review URL should go.
Billing
Do I need a credit card for the free generate?
No. First generate is free. You send the text. We don't. $29/month saves the shop.
What does $29/month buy?
The saved shop name, Place ID, and text so you are not pasting Maps after every job. Still no texts from us.
Is there a second plan or a bring-your-own-key option?
No. One plan. Paste works without a Google API key. We do not sell keys.
Data
Do you store my customers' phone numbers?
Not in v1. We don't need them. You keep the numbers.
What do you store if I pay?
Account email, shop name, Place ID, the text template, and that a generate happened. Not review bodies. Not customer phones.
First generate is free. You send the text. We don't.
