Google review link not working
Four honest reasons the official write-review URL fails. We still never send SMS. You still send the text.
You opened it on the owner account
Google often will not show the public write-review form to the person who manages the listing. Open the link on a phone that is not signed into that Business Profile — a customer phone, or a signed-out browser. The form is for the customer, not the owner dashboard.
The Place ID is truncated
A Place ID is a long token, usually starting with ChIJ. If a character is missing, the write-review URL points at nothing useful. Paste the full ID. Do not wrap it. Do not break it across a text.
The listing is not verified
An unverified listing may not have a working public review form yet. Finish Google’s verification on the profile first. We cannot invent a form Google has not opened.
A short maps.app.goo.gl link did not resolve
We follow the short link’s HTTP redirects and read the final URL only. We do not scrape the Maps page. If the Place ID is not in that final URL, paste the Place ID from Google’s Place ID Finder instead.
