Print a QR for the counter

Google’s own review QR is created in a computer browser, not on a phone. This page draws a QR in your browser from the official write-review URL, so you can print it from the van.

Make the link first
Paste a Maps URL or Place ID. The QR is drawn here after the write-review URL exists. Nothing is sent to a QR service.
How Place ID works

A Place ID is Google’s ID for your listing. The write-review URL is always https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=PLACE_ID.

Open your listing in Maps, tap Share, and paste that link here. If we cannot read it — short links sometimes hide the ID — copy the Place ID from Google’s Place ID Finder and paste that instead. Read our Place ID explainer. We do not call Google Places unless you add an API key later, and we do not scrape Google.

What the code opens

The QR encodes https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=PLACE_ID. A scan opens the form. It does not post a star for anyone. The customer still writes the review on Google.

Google documents their dashboard flow in Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews. Use that if you manage the listing on a computer. Use this page when you already have a Place ID or Maps link and you are on a phone.
